Holiday Course
This summer, Bikeworks and Hounslow council are teaming up to offer your children free* Bikeability Training, Level 1 & Level 2.
We are running 2 courses of 5-days long in Osterley Park!
Dates:
💙Monday 26 July to Friday 30 July 2021
💙Monday 16 August to Friday 20 august 2021
This is a 5-day course designed to build children’s confidence to cycle independently on-road.
Your child must:
- Be 9 years old and over.
- Be able to ride independently [no complete beginners].
- Be committed to participate in the full 5-days course.
Sessions are 1h30 per day, for 5-day:
Group 1 – 09:00 to 10-30
Group 2 – 10:30 to 12:00
Group 3 – 13:00 – 14:30
The children will be assessed and re-arranged by level groups.
Participants don’t even need their own bike, as we can lend them one. But bring your road worthy bike if you do!
If you live, work, or study in Hounslow, your children are eligible for the Holiday Course😍
⚠️The course is not suitable for complete beginners.
⚠️ If your child does not know how to ride a bike, that’s totally ok, and it’s best if book your child on the Learn to Ride course instead.

Covid-19 measures in place for the safest delivery.
Based on local Government’s latest advice and guidance of COVID-19 we ask all riders to be proactive in ensuring social distance of 2 meters and to have their own Personal Protective Equipment (including gloves and masks). It is important to take steps to ensure riders & instructors safety. If you do not have PPE, we can provide some at our Cycling Hub in Osterley Park.
If your child has, or has had, a fever or cough, have been close to someone with these symptoms, or if any of your cohabitants are ill or self-isolating, unfortunately your child will not be able to have training.
We ask riders to confirm that they and people they live with have been symptom free for 14 days. Additionally when confirming the booking please let us know if you are in a vulnerable group.
Comple Beginners
⚠️This course is NOT suitable for complete beginners. Please sign up to the Learn to Ride course instead.

You must live, work or study in the London Borough of Hounslow.

Training departs from our hub in Osterley Park.

The Cycle Hire hub is on the right hand side of the Stable Cafe (when walking from the car park or Osterley House). Look for a green container.

Bike Rental
If you are unable to provide your own bike, we will be able to supply one for free at the Osterley Park Hub.
Deposit
Bikeworks charges a fully refundable £10.00 deposit for the full 5 day course, which will be returned in full on completion of the full course. We have a 48 hour cancellation policy, after this time we will be unable to refund your deposit.
