Cycle Into Work The Cycle into Work programme offers accredited and non-accredited employability and skills training for people with barriers to employment, with a priority for individuals with learning disabilities and sensory needs. Our courses make up a robust ecosystem with multiple employment pathways into volunteer and employment opportunities in the growing cycling industry. Bikeworks offers the following modules, dependent on what you want to achieve, the skills you already have, and your stage of the employment journey. Courses range from a few days for introductory mechanics courses, to 10 days for the City & Guilds L2 Mechanics course and 8 weeks for the City & Guilds L1 Employability course. We will support you to build a personalised programme. Courses take place at Maxilla in West London, and in East London at Victoria Park and the Velodrome in the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park. West London Employability courses are forthcoming. The programme is currently open to unemployed individuals with a priority for Tower Hamlets, Newham, Waltham Forest, and Hackney residents with disabilities and sensory needs, women, ethnic minorities or age 50+. If you are an unemployed London resident and are interested in the programme but do not meet the above criteria, please DO submit an enquiry form as additional opportunities may become available.
