This week (Thursday 2nd Feb) The Mayor of London launched a new £110m scrappage scheme providing financial assistance to help eligible Londoners scrap their highest polluting vehicles to prepare for the expansion of the Ultra Low Emission Zone (ULEZ) across all London boroughs from 29 August 2023.

The ULEZ expansion and scrappage scheme will help clear London’s air by providing grant payments to successful applicants to scrap or retrofit vehicles that do not meet the emissions standards and switch to cleaner, greener modes of transport.

Bikeworks, along with two other cycling organisations represented at the launch of the new 100 million scrappage scheme. Great to see Julian Scriven from Brompton and Dan from Fully Charged.
