  • Support us to raise funds for a new cycle for our All Ability Club

Our fleet of cycles can’t keep up with demand. Bikeworks needs your support to raise funds for the purchase of a much-needed specialist cycle for our All Ability Club in Victoria Park. Over the past year we’ve delivered 15,000 free-to-access sessions, supporting disabled people and carers to get physically active in local parks, while making friends.

Bikeworks is a local good cause for 2023.

If you’re a Coop member you can sign-in to your account and support our fundraising efforts.

Adapted and specialist cycles are expensive and too large to store safely.

Bikeworks All Ability Clubs provide an opportunity for people with health conditions, or learning, physical and/or sensory disabilities to enjoy cycling.

“Our community/members are vastly expanding and we need to keep up with the demand and keep the smiles on peoples faces. Victoria Park plays a big part in the local community, so too does Bikeworks as we believe everyone can and should experience the joys of cycling. Bikeworks All Ability Club just adds to the uniqueness of Vicky Park.”  Jamie Lawson, Inclusive Cycling Manager at Bikeworks

Everyone is welcome to attend our All Ability Club. You’ll find a range of cycles waiting to be explored. Club members have access to single and tandem tricycles, side-by-side cycles for two or more people, wheelchair platform cycles and go-kart style recumbent cycles.  All clubs are increasingly popular with families as we can cater for different riding abilities, allowing the whole family to cycle and enjoy the benefits together.

    What’s our fundraising target?

“The cycles we use at our clubs are in constant demand. Cycling provides our members with the freedom and independence they don’t often have when they’re off the cycles. These are great fun to ride too, which the smiles on riders faces after being out on a ride will attest to”
    Simon, All Ability Manager
