Current volunteer roles

As you know, cycling is so much fun and can have far reaching health benefits. Unfortunately there aren’t many cycling clubs in London with accessible bikes, and hardly any of the existing ones are for free. Bikeworks All Ability program is aiming to fix that, and we need your help.

In order to expand our All Ability programme we need support from local communities, and that’s when you come into the picture. You would be helping our instructors with the operational side of things by moving bikes from nearby storage to club starting point, doing safety checks, bike and helmet fitting, meet & greet admin, registering service users or marshalling mini-rides within the park. We provide you with all the necessary training such as basic first aid, bike mechanics, disability awareness, etc. for free.

You can decide how much time/energy you want to invest into all of this. There are no minimum hours to commit to (although we would prefer at least one club session per month) and the only compulsory training is a 2 hour introduction to All Ability cycling, that would be provided simultaneously with a club session of your choice.
