Is your bike not feeling quite right and you’re not sure why? Perhaps you don’t have time to service your gears or you just want to make sure your bike is safe to ride. Whatever the problem, we know it’s important you get to work safely and with minimal fuss, so if your bike is in need of a bit of tender loving care, let Bikeworks help.

Our friendly mechanic can assist with all things bike related – from small maintenance issues such as a puncture repair or a brake service all the way through to a full bike build.

If it’s been a while since your bike last had some attention, it’s become noisy or is misbehaving in some way, we also offer comprehensive service packages.

Not sure what’s wrong with your bike? No problem. We’re happy to take a look and advise you.

All repairs and services are bookable online for your convenience and carried out on site – giving you the flexibility to choose a time and day that suits you best. We’re available from 07:30 to 16:00, Monday to Friday. No work will be carried out on your bike without your prior approval.

Cancellations made more than 48 hours will receive a full refund of the £10 deposit. Cancellations after this point cannot be processed.

Book a Silver Service if it’s been a while since your bike last had some attention, your bike gets a fair amount of use and you need it to be reliable or your bike has become noisy or is misbehaving.

The Silver Service includes:

  • Inspection of parts for wear and safe operation
  • Brakes serviced and setup, including cleaning of braking surfaces
  • Gears serviced and setup including drivetrain cleaning and lubrication, or chain, cassette and chainrings replaced
  • Wheels trued in jig and/or spokes fitted
  • External bearing checks and adjustment: hubs, headset, bottom bracket
  • Fitting of any replacement parts
  • All components, bolts, pedals and accessories checked for secure fastening and lubricated
  • Tyres checked and inflated
  • Frame wipe down.

Cost: £80, or Single Speed, £60

If any other maintenance is required, we will contact you to discuss the next steps.

The Gold Service includes:

  • Complete strip-down, dismantle and regrease
  • Inspection of parts for wear and safe operation
  • Brakes serviced and setup, including cleaning of braking surfaces
  • Complimentary gear and brake cables (excluding hydraulic)
  • Gears serviced and setup including drivetrain cleaning and lubrication, or chain, cassette and chainrings replaced
  • Wheels trued in jig and/or spokes fitted
  • External bearing checks and adjustment: hubs, headset, bottom bracket
  • Fitting of any replacement parts
  • All components, bolts, pedals and accessories checked for secure fastening and lubricated
  • Complete reassembly with all parts serviced and fine-tuned and tyres checked and inflated

Cost: £150

Choose a Gold or Silver service for your e-bike and the following extras will be included:

  • Cleaning and resealing all connections
  • Cleaning and checking position of crank sensor
  • Testing and re-charging battery
  • Running diagnostic software and updating firmware if necessary

Estimated time to complete: 5 hours

Cost: Gold £160 / Silver £90
