Bikeworks has moved it’s base for operations to Victoria Park in Tower Hamlets. The park offers excellent opportunities for cycle programmes and will be a home for Bikeworks bike recycling operations. See contact us / map for details of where to find us.
City Bridge Trust back Bikeworks with a grant of £45,000
Bikeworks is delighted to have secured funding worth £45,000 over two years from the City Bridge Trust to support the development of the enterprise and the growth of our social and environmental programmes including bike recycling. We would like to thank the trust for their backing and belief in what we are doing.

Bikeworks receives £20,000 in funding from Esmee Fairbairn foundation
Bikeworks has been successful in securing a grant worth £20,000 from the Esmee Fairbain foundation to develop it’s employment and training arm in 2008. The grant will enable us to build an accredited trainee programme and employ young people (including disability groups) in East London as cycle trainers, mechanics and in other areas of the enterprise.

Bikeworks highly commended in London Cycling Campaign Awards
Bikeworks is delighted to have been highly commended by the London Cycling Campaign in their annual community awards in October 2007. The award recognises the significant progress Bikeworks has made in a very short time since we started trading in February this year and in particular highlights Bikeworks successful disability cycling programme.
