Get Cycling with Bikeworks
At Bikeworks we want to support everyone and anyone to get cycling. One of our key objectives as a social enterprise is to create as diverse cycling community as possible. It’s cheap, keeps you fit and connects you better with your community.
Unfortunately we recognise there are lots of barriers to stop people cycling. The roads can be scary and it’s hard to know which kit is right for you.
To overcome these barriers we have a number of solutions to help anyone cycle regardless of age, disability or experience.
We run inclusive cycling clubs suitable for any ability, experience, age or confidence level. We have three permanent locations in the Olympic Park, Victoria Park and Little Wormwood Scrubs. At each of these we have a wide range of wheelchair accessible bikes, trikes and hand-cycles as well as many other types of cycle. We also provide a range of outreach work with local groups. If you’d like to know more please visit the All Ability page
We support thousands of people each year to start cycling through the Bikeability syllabus. This is tailored training to help you become safer and more confident on the road. We have funding to deliver this for anyone that lives, works or studies in Tower Hamlets, Royal Greenwich, Hammersmith & Fulham and Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea.
