Bikeworks is a not for profit bike shop based in London.
At Bikeworks we sell bikes, repair bikes and provide teaching and training to help you ride or fix your bike better.
We were created in 2006 with a mission is to actively change lives and provide positive experiences using the bicycle.
At the heart of this is our community cycling hub in Bethnal Green where we:
We sell new and reused bikes as well as bicycle clothing, parts and accessories
We repair bikes of any shape size or type. We pride ourselves on providing impartial non judgemental advice so please come in with any repair or questions.
Deliver Classes in bicycle repair:
We deliver bicycle repair classes ranging from one day to professional qualifications.
Provide cycle training:
We provide cycle training for any level and inclusive cycling clubs where the whole community can start cycling together regardless of age, impairment or experience.
Support cyclists across London
We want to build a more diverse cycling community. As part of this we deliver ‘Bikeability’ Cycle Training suitable for all levels and experiences. We also run free at the point of access inclusive All Ability Cycling Clubs which cater for the whole community regardless of age, disability or confidence.
We know that bike repair can be confusing and mysterious. To support cyclists we offer non judgemental repairs, one day maintenance courses as well as a twice weekly fix your own bike club. For people looking to become professional mechanics we have an employment and training programme covering everything you need to know.
